Massarella is situated in a region of rolling hills that offers quick and easy access to cities like LUCCA, PISA, PISTOIA, and MONTECATINI TERME and to sites of particular interest, like Vinci (the birthplace of Leonardo), Cerreto Guidi (with its Medici Villa), San Miniato Alto (with the Rocca del Barbarossa), San Gimignano (with its myriad medieval towers).

To reach Massarella by car, take the A11 FIRENZE – PISA motorway and exist at Chiesina Uzzanese, or use the state highway FI-PI-LI and exit at San Miniato. In both cases after exiting follow signs for Fucecchio first, and later for Massarella, which is about 8 km from Fucecchio.
For those arriving by train, the closest stations are San Miniato Basso and Empoli, both of which have taxi services. The San Minato station, which is the closest to Massarella, also offers a shuttle bus service between the station and Fucecchio.
Massarella lies about 154 km from Bologna, 300 km from Venice, 303 km from Milan, and 335 km from Rome.
